When hiring me to paint your cupboards, here is what happens. I show up on day 1 with my partner and we take the doors off and remove drawer fronts if possible. I clean the frame of the cupboards with TSP Alternative. Then I apply a coat of BIN with shellac to seal in the wood to prevent bleed through in the future. Once this is dry (about 15 minutes), I apply Fusion Mineral Paint in the color(s) of your choice. And finally, I add a clear topcoat in either Matte or Glossy. And voila, an updated kitchen so beautiful, your neighbors will be envious!
