Blemish Furniture

Where beauty meets purpose

Transforming Imperfections into Artistry

I believe that every scratch, every blemish, and every imperfection tells a story. My mission? To turn these pieces into something extraordinary.

Upcycled Brilliance

The journey begins with old, worn-out furniture. The kind that’s seen better days. I roll up my sleeves, work away at the scars, and breathe new life into these forgotten pieces. The result? Functional art that graces your home and warms your heart.

The After Trauma Empowerment Network Connection

But there’s more to this story. I’m not just about aesthetics; I’m about helping and healing. Just as I love to work on furniture, I’m committed to helping the people that help others. That’s why I’ve decided to start Blemish Furniture to help support the After Trauma Empowerment Network (ATEN).

From Blemished to Beautiful

Imagine an old dresser, its paint chipped and legs wobbly. Now envision a soul scarred by trauma, seeking solace. I see parallels. Just as I revitalize and beautify furniture, ATEN sands away emotional wounds, revealing resilience and hope.  They offer free counseling services and other community programs to help people in many capacities and I love everything they do.

Making a Difference, One Sale at a Time

When you choose to purchase a piece of Blemish Furniture, you’re not just buying a piece of beautiful furniture; you’re investing in hope. A significant portion of every sale of Blemish Furniture goes directly to ATEN. Together, we can turn imperfections into empowerment.

Join me

I hope you will join me in my endeavor to help support those who help others. Together we can make a difference in our community.

If you would like to learn more about ATEN, you can go to their website here, and their Facebook page here.

The second piece of Blemish Furniture is up for auction!

This is an antique, solid wood table. It was full of scratches and water marks and it was a bit wobbly. I glued the legs to make it more stable, then gave it a good cleaning. I painted it in Little Black Dress Milk Paint and sealed the milk paint with Hemp Oil. Then I added the beautiful horse love decoupage paper to the top and sealed the whole table in with Tough Coat.
