Why this kit works for beginners:
- Proper prep: TSP Alternative cleans the surface of the piece to help paint adhere.
- Quality tools: A good brush plus a Microfiber roller gives a smoother finish and fewer brush strokes.
Quick how‑to:
- Clean with TSP Alternative and let the piece dry. The product is concentrated, so add two capfuls to a spray bottle and fill with water
- Lightly scuff sand if needed, then wipe away dust.
- Roll large flat areas using the microfiber roller; use the 1.5" StaalMeester to smooth down any texture left behind from the roller for a smooth finish.
- Apply 2–3 thin coats of Fusion, allowing proper dry time between coats.
- Wash brushes with Brush Soap so they’re ready for your next project.
TIPS:
- Pour about a cup of paint into the tray to start and add as you go.
- Wrap brush and roller in plastic wrap between coats.
- Rinse paint out of brush and clean with brush soap to keep bristles soft
- Rinse out paint tray and/or liner to keep it clean for the next use.
