Fusion Mineral Paint Transition

Fusion Mineral Paint Transition is the perfect product when going from a dark color to a light one.  This eco-friendly recycled pigment product is going to save you time and money!

Made of recycled pigment, Transition gives you high hiding coverage.  The purpose of this product is to take you from a dark color to a light color in fewer coats of regular paint.

Transition is made by the makers of Fusion Mineral Paint.  However, it doesn’t have the same adhesion or durability as the regular Fusion Mineral Paint as it uses recycled pigments.  But that’s why it’s approximately half the price!  Because this product doesn’t have the same adhesion or durability of FMP, it should be used “sandwiched” in between coats of regular FMP.  Paint one coat of your color choice, then a coat of Transition.  Then apply your next coat of your color choice.  Allow 2 to 4 hours between coats.

Transition is not a primer.  It DOES NOT seal or block against resin or tannin bleed through.  It should be used on surfaces ready and prepped. Be sure to use a Zinsser BIN shellac-based primer for bleed through concerns.
