Small Antique Dresser Gets a Makeover

This small dress is a great size to makeover because people love them for small spaces.

This particular dresser was in pretty rough shape and missing all of it's hardware.

I started by sanding down the top and then I cleaned the whole piece with TSP Alternative.

I applied Cappaccino Stain & Finishing Oil on the top.  I applied it with a throw away sponge brush and then I wiped back all in one direction with an applicator pad. 

I painted the dresser in Cathedral Taupe and added new brass pulls.  It looks like a completely new dresser now.
