The first step was removing the old seat foam and giving the entire frame a thorough cleaning with TSP Alternative. Once the surface was prepped, I pulled out a gorgeous fabric I’d been saving for the right project—this bench was the perfect canvas.

I added fresh seat foam and batting, then carefully stapled the fabric into place. Since the seat lifts up, I finished the underside with a dust cover to keep everything neat and professional looking.

To complete the transformation, I chose Fusion Mineral Paint in Bayberry, a rich, earthy green that beautifully complemented the fabric. The result was a bench that looked elegant, refreshed, and ready for a new home.
