💙 Broken No More: A Cabinet Makeover in Fusion Mineral Paint, Redesign with Prima and Gold Pigments

Some pieces don’t just whisper—they shout for a second chance. This scuffed and broken cabinet was one of them. With one door broken and pieces missing, I knew it needed a bold reimagining.

I started by removing both doors and filling the hinge holes to prep for a new open-style look. After a thorough clean with TSP Alternative, I was ready to bring my vision to life.
For the exterior, I chose Fusion Mineral Paint in Homestead Blue, a complex blue with a hint of grey and an undertone of teal, to add charm and confidence.. The interior got a soft contrast with Little Lamb, an elegant grey neutral.
To elevate the design, I added WoodUbend Pediments to the center front and WoodUbend trim along the inside edge where the doors once were. On the inside of the cabinet, I applied a Redesign with Prima decor transfer for a touch of elegance and visual interest.

The final flourish? A delicate dry brushing of Posh Chalk gold pigments that added just the right amount of shimmer and sophistication.

This cabinet went from broken to breathtaking—and now it stands proud as a one-of-a-kind showpiece.
