This sweet little four‑drawer dresser was already in great shape structurally, but it was definitely ready for an update. The lines were lovely, especially the decorative scrolls on the drawer fronts — I knew right away I wanted to keep that graceful charm and build the makeover around it.

Before anything else, I gave the entire piece a deep clean using TSP Alternative to remove years of dirt and grime. A clean surface is the secret to a smooth, long‑lasting finish.

A Bold, Beautiful Pink Transformation

Once it was prepped, it was time for color — and I wanted something bold, feminine, and full of personality. Fusion’s Raspberry from the Alchemy Line was the perfect choice. It’s a deep, rich pink that feels both playful and elegant.

After two coats, the dresser already looked completely transformed.

Lined Drawers for a Luxe Surprise

While the paint dried, I found the most gorgeous wallpaper to line the drawers with. The pattern looked absolutely stunning against the deep Raspberry pink — such a pretty little surprise every time a drawer is opened. It’s those small touches that make a piece feel truly special.

Gold Details for the Perfect Finishing Touch

To highlight the decorative scrolls and add a touch of glamour, I applied one of Kacha’s Redesign with Prima gold transfers to the drawer fronts. The delicate gold detailing paired beautifully with the pink, giving the dresser a soft, romantic feel.

For even more elegance, I added gold leaf to the drawer separators, creating a subtle shimmer that catches the light just right.
